Base Builder: 8-Week Introductory Program

Our 8-Week Base Builder Program is the perfect starting point for newer runners looking to establish a strong foundation in running technique, endurance, and mobility.

Whether you’re new to structured training or returning after time off, this program is designed to set you up for long-term success.

This well-rounded program includes three carefully planned runs per week:

  • Technique Run: Focused on improving your form and efficiency.
  • Interval Runs: Designed to build speed and aerobic capacity.
  • Long Run: Gradually develops endurance and stamina (3km up to 8km)

Complementing the running sessions are two targeted mobility routines and one run-specific strength session each week, tailored to reduce injury risk, increase flexibility and recovery, and generally make you a stronger runner!

The Base Builder Program equips you with the skills, strength, and resilience needed to progress into more advanced training plans, helping you move and feel your best as a runner.
